Star Swords: Display Version

So my first pass at making Takuto's Star Swords didn't turn out exactly as I wanted. After casting the resin, it was obvious that it would end up being too heavy and big. Plus, I tried to take a shortcut and make a half sword mold. Sadly, my mold was not perfectly symmetrical so there is no way for me to glue two halves together.

However, they still turned out quite nicely and will look good hanging on my wall, thus the "Display Version" in my title.

I am in the process of redoing the molds for the real prop. I am really excited about adding LEDs to it as it does look great. Sample pic of some LEDs under it: [link] My only hurdle is figuring out how to implant the battery pack and making it accessible. If this wasn't clear resin it would have been easier.
